Just Because In December

Our trees here are turning
from oranges
to reds
to browns
and falling swiftly.

The woman at the window
said to me,
"the lady in front of you
paid for your drink and said to have
a Merry Christmas!"

It's been so cold here
that there is frost on all the lawns
early in the morning.

This tree right by my house
looks like it's on fire,
it's sooooo pretty.

This jolly guy says hello to
everyone driving by in
my brother's neighborhood.

One of my favorite things
to eat is spaghetti,
butter, a few tomatoes, and
salt and pepper.

Ever wondered what Noel means?
In French, joyeax noel means
Merry Christmas.

Sometimes early in the morning
when it's still dark out,
I turn on the Christmas tree lights,
and just sit and stare in wonder.

HoHoHo!
Me and best friend many moons ago.
(I'm on the right).
He was the best looking Santa
that I've ever seen.
I think he was the real Santa.  ; )

Happy Christmas week!

What beautiful trees, including your Christmas one too. I sit and stare at our tree in the predawn hours as well. There is wonder in every thing this time of year. You and your friend look very cool with Santa. LOVE those coats.

Also how pretty the leaves are on the tree, such an amazing colour.
Keep warm, the frost looks a little cold out there.

Sheri, The picture of your friend and you with Santa is so cute. I love sitting with only the tree lights on and admiring our tree. I will look at the things my girls made. The red trees in your area are so beautiful. Wow, your frost seems like a dusting of snow. Nice that someone bought your coffee as a kindness. When I eat spaghetti, I do not like lots of sauce. I like it almost plain. Also I like it warmed up the next day. LOL. Wishing you a great evening there. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie

What a sweet photo of you and your friend with Santa, Sheri! Your trees are still holding their beautiful colors. Our trees are now bare. We finished cleaning them all up on Monday. It's quite a job to still be doing during the week leading up to Christmas. Have a very Merry Christmas, dear one. xo ♥

First, thank you so much for coming over for a visit, and leaving such kind words for me. You have such a kind heart.
I just love the colors on the trees! Frost on the lawn, here too! Jasper and Zoe run out in the morning and tip toe across the frost covered grass.
Happy Christmas week, dear friend. I love your tree, and what a perfect time to sit and enjoy.
