Lunch With The Siblings

I had lunch this week with
my brother and sister
at Macaroni Grill.

I ordered my favorite dish,
Pasta Milano,
with sun dried tomatoes.

We talked about many things.
My brother cracked me up
with stories of when
we were kids growing up.
He's only a year older
than me.

For dessert, I had tiramisu.

My brother bought me and
my sister a bottle
of wine to take home.

While we were eating,
a song played in the restaurant,
What a Wonderful World,
which reminds me of
my dad.  : )

After lunch, we walked to
our cars, and my
sister gave me this picture.
She said it reminded
her of something I would like.
Isn't it pretty?

I love my brothers and sister,
and it truly is
a wonderful world.

Sheri, What a glorious time with your siblings. If that is a picture of your father, he is so handsome. Your brother was so kind to buy you girls some wine. The picture is so too your liking.
I have no mentioned this on my blog...because I am still holding my breath...my baby brother was just diagnosed with prostate cancer....breaks my heart. He had it caught early and will be opting for the surgery..would you say a prayer for him honey. He's a good man. Thank you so much, Bless you, love , xoxo, Susie

Macaroni Grill is one of my favorite little spots to share a meal, memory or celebrate an event! Years and years ago my friends and I would meet there and eat with our children to celebrate Birthdays.
So nice to have siblings to celebrate the joys and memories of life with!
Love,
jemma

Teramisso is my favorite dessert.
So, you came home with a bottle of wine from your brother and a beautiful picture from your sister. Nice gesture from your siblings showing their love and affection for you.

How nice to share the day with your brother and sister. Mine are far away in Georgia. Yes, the painting with the lady and the red rose reminds me of your beautiful blog.

Sheri! At first, I thought it was one of your children writing this post, then with the photo of "dad", I thought it was your HUSBAND and I thought, "Wow, Sheri's husband looks like her!" I see now, this is YOU speaking! You sure resemble your father, like I do mine. You had a good time dear one? Enjoy your Sunday!

Hello Friend,
How nice to live close to your siblings. That is very special!! My sister and I do not live close. We try to do a Sister's Weekend each year. This year she started a new job in June, so she is not sure if she will be able to get a way. We hope to continue the tradition.
Have a great new week!

What a great memory. sharing memories and making memories, both I like. I miss my brother. We've only spoken maybe 2 times in 3 years. It breaks my heart, but I love to hear your stories. What a special time! Your father was a nice looking man and he does remind me of the time, What a Wonderful World. It really is wonderful, isn't it. That last photo is breathtaking.

What a beautiful afternoon, dear Sheri! Time spent with loved ones is precious, indeed. Even better when you share wonderful memories, especially those that make you laugh :) Your meal looks wonderful and how sweet of your brother to buy you the bottle of wine. My husband was just at that winery for a business conference :) and it is my favorite wine. The Cabernet is my fave. Your dear Father is so handsome....I can see why your Mother fell in love <3. Lovely print from your sis - perfect, in fact! I don't have a brother....always wished I did. Sending hugs xo Karen
