April Showers

It rained today.
Here are some April
pics.

A favorite park
that I visit some mornings.

This turkey looked old,
maybe a grandma?

This critter was
scratching itself with
its hind leg.
It was funny to watch.

These are in
front of the housing
development that I live in.
Do you know what
they are?
(perhaps spanish lavender?)

Thought this arch was pretty.

Flowers in my
back yard.

At the trail.

Hi Sheri...thanks for all of the sweet comments you left on my posts! These photos are phenomenal! Such clarity and perfect lighting...and wow...that turkey is amazing! To answer your questions, I did read that wisteria can be poisonous to pets but it usually is so high up, I would hope it wouldn't pose much danger to most pets...I hope not, anyway! The purple flowers you were asking me about is a mystery but they are GLORIOUS! What I would do is describe them the best you can and google images and see if something comes up that looks like them! That's what I do...if it wasn't for google, I'd be lost! :) Have a wonderful Sunday!

Things are beautiful after it has rained. LOVELY photographs and gorgeous scenery in your eye's view. Our spring day here consisted of snow.

Sheri, your rain has made everything look lovely. The beautiful trellised walkway is so pretty. I can see why you would visit this park frequently. I don't know what the pretty purple flowers are. Your photos are terrific! Have a great evening. ♥

Good morning sweetest Sheri! A world of possibilities happen after the gloomy, hard rain. LIFE happens!

We have had sunny but COLD days, but we are chugging along here in Minnesota. We don't quit! And that is Spanish lavender...or some kind of lavender! So pretty is your park, enjoy it and the sunshine. Much love! Anita

I am just smiling here right now at the remark on the Turkey being a grandma:) sooo cute of you!
I agree, she does look like she has had a full life-guess she was a lucky turkey too! No one had her for Thanksgiving.
Those droplets of water on the pine needles is beautiful.
I am so thankful that you have rain:)
Precious post my dearest of friends.
Love,
Jemma

It's raining here today as well. The last few days have been hot and dry and very dusty so the rain is very welcome. Lovely photos, Sheri! I wish I had a pink wall.

Beautiful photos! Does the Spanish lavender smell the same? I've seen fields of lavender but unfortunately the scent is a migraine trigger for me. So many pretty things have lavender scent in them. :(
