In Spirit of the Holiday

Happy Halloween week!

I hope you enjoy these (random) Halloween-inspired photos in spirit of the holiday.

(Real estate in New Orleans French Quarter. Is this really a selling point??)

Are you doing anything special for Halloween?

My little students will be wearing their costumes to school, and we will be having a Halloween party.

This time is so exciting for kids, especially in elementary school.

As for Halloween night, I'll be staying in, prepping some festive treats,

and watching a scary movie with my fiancé

Whatever you do, I wish you a safe and fun All Hallow's Eve!

This post is up now!!!

It has been showing, on my Blog List, as a new post. But when clicked on, it says "the post you are looking for is not here" or some such words. How about that????????

Does the New Blog Post Thing, have ESP? And knows when you are compiling a new post? Even before you finish and Publish it???
Whoooooooo...Woooooooooo. ,-))))

Obviously, there is some very scientific and net worthy explanation for this. But at this time of year, isn't it more fun, to wonder if it is... Whooooo... Whooooooo?????

Happy Pumpkin hugs,
Tess

I love seeing all of the fun stuff. We drove to the beach today and I took a photo of a car we were behind. There was a hand coming out of the trunk! haha! We don't have any special plans. Hubby will eat candy though! Hugs!

This is the second time today I saw the pic of the jackolantern on the statue in Santa Cruz. I think it's great your class is having a party. They seem to not allow that anymore in my kids schools. I remember in elementary we dressed up had a parade and party, went home, trick or treated and stayed in the costume till bedtime. The 80's as a kid rocked for sure.
Awesome Hallow pics, Happy early Halloween!

I loved all your photo's here Jess.
Two of the grandchildren are going out tomorrow to pick their pumpkins; it's half term week in the UK, so they are not at school. I'm hoping to see them soon to join in with their fun ... can't wait!

Enjoy your Halloween Week

All the best Jan

Super photos, Jess. Just great!

Can you ask your Mom to tell me the difference between interior design and interior decorating? I'd love to know. Thanks! Susan

The surfer statue with the pumpkin over his head cracked me up lol

This year we'll be handing out candy at a friends house that gets trick or treaters, while we sit around a bon fire having cocktails :)

Note to Jess: Oh, thanks so much for the clarification on interior design versus interior decorating, Jess. Sounds more like architecture (the design part). I really appreciated your taking the time to explain. Sincerely, Susan p.s. The decorations in that particular post are from my niece's house, not mine. We both love decorating our homes.

Great photos!! I think your Halloween evening plans sound fun. I love seeing the little ones all dressed up but we really don't get trick or treaters here. I think this is one evening kids should have a blast!
