Hello September

I have always been fascinated
with Autumn.
It whispers to me like
no other season.

Does Autumn whisper
to you, too?

What lovely pictures of beautiful ladies you've chosen.
I too love autumn, our mornings & evenings are getting chilly, but the days are warm & sunny so I'm clinging on to Summer as long as I can.

Good morning, dear Sheri! Yes, Autumn whispers to me. I love it! I've been trying to sense the changing of the seasons more in the last year and have felt Autumn coming on for a couple of weeks now. Despite the heat, I still sense it. The trees are speaking of change. So is the light and shadow. Can't wait for it to get here! Much love, my friend!

You are definitely getting me in the mood for FALL, Sheri. Lovely images!! It has finally cooled down here--just in time for a long weekend and outdoor entertaining. Enjoy your lovely time this weekend! Would love to have you add a link or two to our lifestyle linkup this weekend. It's so fun to see the showcase of beautiful blog posts grow... ;)

Sheri, Autumn may start with a whisper...but then once the reds. golds, rusts and yellows appear....it seems to be shouting "Hello There". I love the beauty of autumn. God is so good to us. Believe me when I tell you, during autumn, there's never an ugly view in the northeast, with all the sugar maples. Blessings for a fun weekend with loved ones. Love you girl, Susie

I begin to feel Autumn speak to my soul before it gets here. My mom passed away in September so I begin to feel a bit nostalgic at the end of August. A cool night or a cool morning brings with it feelings from deep within. It was hers and my favorite time of year and I can just hear my mama say, "Look, at that tree." And before I could look at one, she had spotted another. She and my daddy were married on October 27 so they took a trip "to the mountains" that weekend and brought back pumpkins to carve with the little ones. So yes, I understand those feelings. I love your tea cup!

Yes my friend; it whispers to me as well. Out here, we are having a heat wave on the first week of school, and it is unbearably humid, but we shall soon have our cool crisp nights and multicolored leaves upon which to jump and walk and crunch under us....how are you? I am tired. Off to enjoy a three day weekend.

I absolutely love the Autumn! The cool, crisp, fresh air, the changing colours on the leaves, the root vegetables in abundance and at great prices, having a nice cup of hot chocolate, taking a nice walk in the cool air! :) I love all your images.

Yes, Autumn speaks to me too Sheri. It has always been my favourite season, even though we don't have the beautiful Autumn leaves of cooler climates. We do have the most brilliant blue skies, and clear horizons, out to the mountains. Love your pictures. xx

Sheri, what a lovely thought--Autumn whispering to us! It's a little cooler here today, but the Autumn that really comes to us has a ways to go. The leaves on the black gum are falling and must be raked today, so I guess that whispering of which you speak has begun. Enjoy you weekend! ♥

Autumn always has and probably always will be my favorite seasons. Living in New England, we truly are fortunate to enjoy all it offers, (but I do wish Summer would be just a tad longer.)

Oh, yes it does, Sheri! Isn't it a miracle every year? Our reward for making it through the hot summer months? Even now when it is still hot here in TN, there is a difference and easy for me to hold onto the promise that just a few more weeks will bring Autumn.

WE don't get autumn here until November. Today it was 87 with 73% humidity. Tomorrow it will be 91 with at least that much humidity, maybe more.
