Autumn Is All Around My Home

Last year, I went with white pumpkins,

but this year I'm going with orange pumpkins all the way.  Come along, and see the Autumn décor inside my house.  Here's my orange velvet pumpkin I put out every year.  I love the softness of it.

My jeweled pumpkins.

This girl statue I use for every holiday, and put different goodies in it for each season.

The glass pumpkin that my sister-in-law gave me and my sister one year.

I just love my Autumn fairy.  She has a sweet smile, and it wouldn't be the same without seeing her every Autumn.

And lastly, my scented candle.  It sits in my kitchen, and fills the air with the smell of cinnamon.

Have you decorated
for Autumn yet?

I love all your Autumn decorations. !!!!

Am I decorated, no. -blush- Perhaps I could blame it on the recurring heat. Or some such. But in the end, I guess I have simply not been personally inspired to do so.

Another possibility is, that I have the same seasonal decor, which I have had for years. I just don't go out and buy new stuff. And by now, I am sick of it. -grin- Actually want to throw it all out. Start over or not start over. Not sure...

Oh my! This comment, is the basis for a post, by myself!!! Thank you. -grin-

Sheri, I love all the pumpkins and that little fairy is adorable. I love to decorate for the season, more than the holidays...except maybe Christmas time. You have been in my prayers as I see the news on all the wild fires...I hope they can be controlled and put out completely. Be safe, Love you sweet girl, Susie

Lovely fall decor at your home, Sheri. I have not decorated for autumn yet. It just doesn't feel right. It's been so hot here, but this morning a gentle rain is falling and I'm so thankful! Your Autumn fairy is just delightful--she looks like she has some magic up her sleeve! Enjoy your lovely decor and your weekend. ♥

Hello Dear Sheri....What a delightful post. I think your decorations are adorable. Oh! That fairy! What a darling, like you!

I just started decorating for fall this week. Bought a nice rug for the front porch, with pumpkins on it. Brought amber glass down from attic yesterday and washed it. It's lining kitchen windows. will post about all the fall hoopla soon.

Hope your weekend is a delight. Susan

Hi Sheri,
Love your Autumn decorating, it's my favorite time of the year and I fall into the russets colors like a kid in a freshly raked pile of leaves.
I smiled when you mentioned how you seasonally change out the girl statue, I do the same with a cherub I have. You'll see him next post.
I adore all Pumpkins, the French Cinderella in Whites and the Grey's, a good old American grown and hand picked for the stem Halloween carving pumpkins. Now Sheri I must ask if your adorable Autumn fairy has a name? I saw her and mentally said hello Penelope. I love her, oh how her personally shines and is perfect amongst your lovely Fall decorations.
Enjoy your weekend!
xoxo,
Vera

Dear Sheri,
I have decorated for Autumn and I continue to add little snippets throughout our tiny apartment. Decorating makes me happy and even more so when the air turns cool and the leaves begin to turn red and orange.
Your sweet signs of Fall are very pretty.
With love,
Jemma

Your Autumn decorations look so lovely, a good mix of colours.
I do like your fairy ...

I only decorate the home at Easter and Christmas - perhaps I may give some thought to changing this, we'll see.

Do hope your weekend is going well.

All the best Jan

I'm getting excited to change the house from coastal to fall but have not yet transitioned. I can just smell the candle scent floating over your fall home. That Autumn fairy is so adorable, and I love that your angel shares all seasons and there special adornments. Thanks for sharing your memory of you Mom with me about the gold bathroom. Smiles & Hugs for a great weekend.

You have a beautiful collection of seasonal decor, Sheri. I really love the white pumpkin, but the colour of the season is wonderful. Because it is Spring over here, I had forgotten I have a small collection of bits brought back from Canada. You have reminded me - and I will get them out in October and decorate for Halloween.

Good morning my friend! I told you I'd be here when you posted..late, but here!

I have not started my decorating because it's been too warm still. But yesterday did cool down and today I think I'll begin by dumping the old flowers that have dried up since I returned to school! Your velvet pumpkins is DARLING! Much love!

Just lovely! I especially like the glass pumpkin! I have a small collection of fall pretties on top of my dresser. My granddaughter likes to arrange and rearrange them when she comes over!

Hi Sheri, Love your gorgeous fall pumpkins and home decor. I really adore the glass pumpkin and your darling Autumn fairy. What a sweetie.
A scented candle always makes things perfect. Yes, I have decorated and all done but with the tours this week, I know I will be inspired to do something more!! Have a blessed Sunday dear friend.

Oh look at your sweet fairy! I love the colors of Autumn and you have so many pretty things that work well together. I have lots of oranges in my Fall decor here in NC. And I love the scented candles at this time of year...cinnamon especially. Hugs!

I don't decorate for Seasons. Just for Holidays. I need the "clean" space to create for the holidays. I can't explain but I feel if I decorated for Fall, for example (THOUGH if I had lovely pieces like you so I should and would :) I love the glass pumpkin, I never saw any like this one. A true beaut) when it was time for Christmas I wouldn't feel like I always do to pretty up home.
But after seeing your excitement and lovely pieces I'm thinking I might do one or two vignettes. That girl statue gave me an idea I don't have to fuss too much with and won't gobble all the home.
Thank you for inspiring Dear Friend.
Love you and wish you an Enchanted Week with fairies, jewels and overall happiness,
Teresa

Your fairy is oh so sweet. I can see why you love her and showcase her charms every year.

Yes,I have decorated, but only because I have to for the Fall Tour. Otherwise, I drag my feet and wait until at least the official start of autumn.

Wow this is so stunning, what an impressive collection. Totally in love with the velvet pumpkin as velvet is my favourite material. I love it on clothes so why not a pumpkin too. I just love it when you can start to see the initial signs of a new season. We are having the beginning of spring right now the first warm sunny day is so glorious.

Sheri, I love your autumn décor. Your pumpkins are beautiful, especially the one with the bling. I'm just starting to decorate a little, but so far I've only picked up pumpkins... :)

You're a bit ahead of me Sheri! Your pumpkins and Fairy are beautiful. Really like those jeweled pumpkins! We here in the upper Midwest try to cram as much summer in before Autumn hits! I am starting to gather up all the summer decor and stack them in a pile to box away. This weekend we are to have cooler weather and that gets me in the mood to pull out the fall harvest decor.

Oh, what beautiful objects, Sheri!
I loved the glass pumpkin velvet too! .... In general I like the pumpkins ... I have not decorated with autumn things home, but still go to the beach and do my part with the summer ... although, that the nights are already cold and chestnuts began to fall! In your post I felt the comfort of coming autumn!

Your pumpkins are so pretty, Sheri. I love how you add special touches to your decor to make everything look so festive. Since we are still in the 90's here I haven't thought too much about fall--but I loved the bit of chill in the air over labor day weekend. I am so ready.
Happy Sunday my dear-xx

I'm a fool for orange, Sheri! And all of your orange touches of fall are beautiful. I love your sweet fairy too! I've added a few touches but still want to go to the farmer's market for more. Even there I think I'll keep it simpler this year.

Maybe time to just enjoy the beautiful colors that will come in the next few weeks!
