Three Faces, Three Personalities

You know, in the years that I've been blogging, I realized I never talked to you about our personalities.  The three of us are very much alike, but very different at the same time.

Sarah Stilwell Weber

Well, let's see, Nel has always been outgoing and talkative, and when she sees something she wants, she goes after it.....and usually gets it because of her perseverance.  She can talk amongst a crowd of people, which is what makes her a great teacher and leader.  She is determined and organized, and always seems to be ahead of things in her daily life.  She often gets too busy with her hectic schedules and planning, and is working on having more relaxed days for herself.

Now, Jess is very sweet, and has a bit of a shyness about her.  She is more indecisive, and she'll laugh when she reads this because she knows this is true.  She can't seem to make up her mind sometimes, but I think that's what makes her a creative individual because she has so many ideas, and often sees the different sides to everything.  She is very much into detail, and everything she creates is impeccable.  She is a good friend with a good heart.

Let's see, where do I start with me hehe.  I have always been outgoing, and some may say direct, but it's because I just like to get to the bottom of things, and not waste unnecessary time.  I always stand up for what I believe, and if it's that important to me, I'll shout it to the rooftops!  I am a free spirit that loves to be around my family, but I also have a strong need for alone time, which gives me the peace that I so appreciate.  I am sweet, but sometimes feisty when I have to be.  ;~)

I guess that sums up our personalities.  We have our good ways and our funky ways, but when it comes right down to it, we are always there when someone is in need with an open heart and a listening ear.

Please tell me,
what is your personality
like?

I love your personality post and know that all three of you are absolutely charming! And a bit mysterious as the pictures of you on the sidebar suggests!

Me? If I can believe the tests I take on FaceBook:
My hippie name should be Meadow
The First Lady I'm most like is Eleanor Roosevelt
I have a PhD--Not!
I should live in Barcelona
My color is yellow
And of the Golden Girls, I'm most like Rose

That should tell you exactly what I'm like!

I am SO surprised to learn that you and I are VERY MUCH ALIKE! Many people think I am sweet, and I am. But do NOT cross me! teeehehehehehe

I am decisive, I know what I want and go for it until I get it right. I will stand up like a MOTHER BEAR if anyone threatens my husband or my students. I have "little dog syndrome" often forgetting I am only 5'4, 115lbs when I encounter a large man or woman who is bigger than me. But I will be there when ya need me. We are twins! teheheheheee

Oh my, I am laughing out loud at what Anita said :)

This was such a fun post, Sheri, and I loved learning more about you and your sweet girls. I am rather shy {my husband calls me his wall flower} and when I am with a group of people I would rather listen and learn than be the center of attention. I am also a little....okay, a lot indecisive. When my mom and I get together we will go back and forth about what do to and where to do. Maybe she does that to me so that I will step up and make the decision! hehe :) Through blogging I feel like I can express myself freely...be who I really am :)

Have a wonderful day, my friend. Love and hugs!

Sheri, I used to be very shy...then I became more out going. I feel that stranger are friends I just haven't met yet. LOL. I strife to always be honest and kind....that is my prayer to God all the time...for Him to make me the woman He wants me to be. I am direct with my grandchildren...not to the point of hurting their feelings...but I let them know they are blessed with my good parents. LOL. I like that my family members are my best friends. I know you and your children are tight too. Blessings, I love all of you, Susie

What a fun post, Sheri! It's always fun to see the differences in personalities in your blog posts here. It's truly a wonderful project for you to share with your girls.

People may say I'm the life of the party, but when I need my down time-I need it to recover and restore my soul...I'm like you that way. I've been told that a big smile and warmth are my gift (it's also what captured my husband;).
Would love to have you and the girls add a couple of blog post links to our #stylefocus linkup this week. It's live today. Any of your posts would be perfect. Any bloggers are also welcome to join!
Happy Monday sweet Sheri!
xx, Heather

Oh how fun it is to have Mother and daughters get together and see the similarities and the differences. I enjoyed reading this post about you and your girls. It is interesting how my three daughters are such a combination of their Father and myself and how the youngest one is a combination of her two older sisters! So fun. As for me, I am very loyal and protective over my family. I cherish my quiet time and embrace the social aspect of life too!
Love,
Jemma

So interesting Sheri. I think I am a lot like you - I love company, but definitely need some quiet time to be me, to regroup and to think. Then I am serene, but when things get too busy without a break, I can go quite feisty too :) xx

Good morning dearest Sheri! Thank you my friend for coming to visit my post. I thought of you when I photographed those roses! They are sitting in a white vintage French enamel pitcher in my studio, and I loved the three colors of the bouquet (got it at Sam's Club!)

That pink and white building on my post is a house up the road from us. There are many castle-style homes out here that I love. And the slippers are mine.

Oh my dear, where has this fabulous summer gone? Enjoy the rest of it with your family. Much love, Anita

How do I explain me? I seem to bite off more than I can chew. (That's why I fall off of the blog now and then.) I am not sure that I LOVE challenge, but at times I seem to thrive on it. I am passionate about everything that I do. Family, friends, work, play. I do not have a best friend. I am rather independent . . . I fly and hover . . . I seem to have the intuition to land on the right doorstep at the right time. I'm a cheerleader . . . a dreamer . . . a planner.

This past year I was honored with two compliments. I was told by one of the caregivers at the clinic that I reminded her of Leanne Touhy ( The Blindside), ( I considered it a HUGE compliment!) Just yesterday I was told that I was our class visionary, by an old school chum. I have finally learned not to let humility get in the way of accepting a compliment.
My greatest flaw is occasional procrastination.
Wow. Look what I wrote!
Blog friends like you and your daughters make us grow and soar! You are the nurturers of blogland!

Interesting post, Sheri!

You have three wonderful!
What to say about yourself? I'm Pisces adore their children, and also to do some beautiful things, like working in the garden to deal with the flowers and vegetables ....

Oh what a wonderful post, Sheri. I loved it!

I have always been an introvert, very shy and quiet at times until I get to know someone new. I have a Pollyanna attitude about life. I always try to look on the bright side, even in bad situations. I'm the type of person that will still be giggling at a joke 24 hours after it's told and everyone around me will be wondering what's so funny. I feel like I was born to be a wife and mother because loving my family comes so easily for me. Oh goodness, where were these thoughts when I was working on the 'about me' for my profile?

Oh well, have a lovely weekend, dear friend... :)
