A Sweet Day With My Kids

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  Nel treated me to a delicious breakfast of pancakes and coffee at my favorite café.  Jess made these paper flowers with her second grade students, and thought she'd make a few for me while creating them.  She also bought me a box of assorted chocolates.

My son gave me a bouquet of white flowers that were so lovely.

Isn't this tea cup pretty?  We spent the day in mid-town Sacramento, and I found it at one of the antique shops there.

I hope you had a
wonderful day as well.

Good morning, lovely. Sounds like you had a beautiful Mother's Day. LOVE the paper flowers Jess made for you with her class. I pictured her as a little girl making these with her classmates. Too precious. Looks like we both received white flowers from our sons (mine an orchid). Enjoy, mama bird.
The teacup is beautiful. Blue and white has my heart these days.
Thank you for the graduation wishes. I'm still in the clouds. :)

It's Thursday night, May 14. I loved your sweet comments on my post recently.

I love knowing you, too, dear Sheri. I feel, in the depth of my soul, that we are kindred spirits.

We like so many of the same things and share similar philosophies on life, itself.

How blessed we are to know each other through this fabulous blog writing!

I hope your weekend is wonderful and I hope we will be friends forevermore! Susan
