Weekend Getaways

It's so nice to find the time for weekend getaways whenever possible...

to visit somewhere just far enough

to temporarily tame the "travel bug" that continues to reside in me...

to keep life interesting, and the heart and mind fulfilled...

I hope I always have the desire to explore.

Never let that die because it's the secret to youth, even when wrinkles and pains come, the desire to explore is essential!

Good afternoon special friend! Thank you for gracing my comments page! How wonderful that your lovely girl is going to visit Carmel! I wonder if we will pass each other in the sweet streets or on the beach.....I will so think of you while I am there. Can you believe it's already February? I can't! Enjoy your day, as I just woke up from a wonderful nap, ready to GO! MUCH LOVE! Anita

Lovely pictures Dear Jess!
I hope you don't loose the bug because travelling - far or near - has two benefits: to enjoy the world out of our own backyard when you leave and to enjoy your own world and backyard when you return.
Can't think of a better education to the Spirit.
Keep going, Pretty Girl!
Love,
Teresa

That sunset is stunning! Many people know that I have the travel bug and the Michael Palin quote is so true! I have always enjoyed his travel programmes and we have most of his travel boooks too.
