Lovely Lantern

 I just bought a lantern
at Pier 1 Imports
with the gift card that
Nel gave me for
my birthday.

This one was so
cool because it opens
in the front and
you can put holiday
décor or candles
inside.

I found a white
candle with the scent
of jasmine.

"Nothing can dim the
light which shines
from within."
~Maya Angelou

Thank you,
Maya Angelou,
for letting your light
shine for all to see.

love,
~Sheri, Jess, Nel

I am devouring her work lately, and the light in her she gave so freely. That is a poet's gift to the world.

Enjoy a beautiful weekend my dears! Anita

I was so sad at Maya Angelou's passing -- she was a treasure. But her books and wisdom live on! Your lantern is very sweet -- I can picture it decorated for Christmas!
So glad you stopped by my blog -- always nice to make new friends!

It was sad to hear of her passing, but she leaves a wonderful legacy for years to come. Here in Oregon, William Stafford is a big favorite!
