College Days

I visited my old college campus recently and had a good time walking around and reminiscing.  Here is some of the campus beauty.

This travel post outside the art department reminded me of Jess because she loves to travel to different places.

The Canadian geese on the roofs of the buildings looked as though they were watching over the campus.

This is the building where I took my stenography classes.  Do you remember shorthand?  My first job after college was a stenographer.

This is a piece of artwork I liked that one of the students created.

The campus bell my husband used to ring when he was 10 years old.

This S building reminded me of Sheri.

Nel would appreciate this, as she loves books.

More art pieces.

My old campus is very nice, and it was good to visit again.

All you students....
study hard
keep learning
I admire your dedication.

You have taken so many beautiful photos! I especially love that beautiful flowering tree. And the travel post is so much fun to look at and see all the miles in the world. It makes me want to go to Greece all the more. I use to take art history classes in an old brick building that had a turret. It looked like a mini castle. Thanks for sharing and have a happy weekend!

Your college campus is so pretty! And the wisteria is stunning. I'm not sure I'll have a campus to visit in the future. My university is moving my discipline to a brand new building, way down the hill from the old one. No memories for me there! I hope you have a good weekend!

It's nice to go back to a place that holds good memories and still looks so beautiful. I love going back to the library I went to as a child. The old buildings are so much better built. Have a good weekend my friend!

LOL- I was the best stenographer and typist in our small class. Did you take the Gregg Shorthand method? I used it for several years for work. What a fun visit to your old campus. xo Diana

you gave me some homework to muse about .....
sitting in my garden today Spring is here looking like summer !
My dearest friend Saskia visited me this week and she told me I have to be patience and be happy with one day at a time in my garden .
Just go and sit with my coffee and MUSE .....
and do one thing ....
Musing about my years as a student would not be on my list !
I did not have a good time .
Maybe I can use the warm summerspring sun to think about it the way you did .
What would I see ?
Happy weekend dear friend

Good morning dear friend....

I see I am very late in visiting everyone, but I am here to enjoy your thoughts. I too love going back to my campuses, and to now see as an educator, the lives that will go on as I have, to discover even more, outside of school.

That wisteria in your first photo is STUNNING! How is your spring coming along? Ours is getting underway, very slowly.

Peace and much love to you, Anita
