White Treasure

My sister just gave me this plate, and I was so surprised because I've seen it around and have always wanted it.  The porcelain plate is the limited edition of Diana, A Rose Everlasting.

It has a music box in the back of the plate, and the white rose looks very nice against my dark hutch.

The white rose is so pretty to me.  It signifies Purity, Innocence, Sympathy, Spirituality.

She also gave me this vintage looking purse that holds cards and notes.

A special gift from my sister that I will keep always.

You are so lucky you have a sister
and she gives you lovely things
and I want to add that that plate is super lovely...

I'm with you on white roses
they look so pure
although I haven't received a bouquet of white roses yet... I think I'll love them too as much as I love red and pink which is what my son and hubby gives me.

I have one younger sister and I love her so much. It's nice from your sister that she gave you this nice plate. She certainly knew that she could make you a great favour! At the end of the month my sister and me are having a sister's weekend - we will have a trip to our roots :), seeing all the places where we spent our childhood. I am looking forward to it!
Enjoy your plate,
Barbara

Hello sweet friend!

WHat a lovely surprise to see your comment come in while I am relaxing here! I am on my blog-writing break, only to give myself a little room to make for my writing class assignments. I have been working on my garden, thank you for asking! I want to take photos but we have had nothing but RAIN! That means the garden is gorgeous and green, but it has also been a bit cold, not allowing my gorgeous white flowers to get BIG.

I hope to try to get nice photos to put up on my post as a way to show my readers that I'm still around while I'm on a writing break! Stay tuned my dear, and thank you for your kind friendship! Enjoy your time in your garden. OH! I want so badly to plant a climbing rose, but my husband thinks it would be too much to maintain.:(((((

LOVE! Anita
