Turquoise Kitchen

I just changed my
kitchen color to
turquoise.
There is alot of
turquoise stuff out
there right now, and
with spring on its
way, I thought it
would be a good
change.  Here is the
cute rooster that I
found at Home Goods.

Loved this candle
and bird that says
Believe.

 I think the design
on this vase is
so unique.

I even found a
turquoise tea kettle.

I saw this turquoise
Easter basket and was
going to fill it with lots
of candy for my kids at
Easter, even though
they are all grown up.
haha

I love to change things
around.  It makes life
bright and cheerful.

Have a good weekend.
Any fun plans?

I love all your turquoise accents. I remember my mother making me "grown up" Easter baskets. I told her I wanted make up and nail polish, etc. But she knew me better and added jelly beans (only the black ones) and malted milk ball eggs. xo

(i'm having problems commenting... let's try again ;))

I Like the new color you chose and I absolutely love that Rooster. You chose well the color and pieces. Look what I find out about turquoise: "The meaning of the color turquoise is open communication and clarity of thought." Nice, uh? Thought so too.

I was so excited with your new pieces that I started thinking I took my minimalismm in the kitchen too far... let's see if on my weekend errands I find some sweet pieces to add to mine ahahahahah

Thank you for sharing and inspiring,

Teresa

P.S. Small and wonderful world we live in... the past weekend I used the quote above: "if you can Dream it, you can Do it" to encourage/support my son's team after a match loss... I believe it is from and American Football player. How funny are these coincidences?

I am loving that turquoise! When I wear turquoise (and sometimes with coral), it makes me feel very happy and calm. I think of Arizona too, where I bought most of it.
Enjoy your turquoise conquest!!!

Turquoise my dear, is the color I LOVE to bring out especially in summer. My house is all white with gold and gray, but my walls lend themselves to setting a turquoise object of interest again the cool white walls. LOVE THAT VASE and the tea kettle!!!!

Hi Sheri, Turquoise is one of my favorite colors too, and has been for a very long time. There I was in high school back in the early 60's I remember buying this turquoise dress coat. I saved my babysitting money to buy it and I thought myself to be quite fashionable :)
I love, love, love your little rooster.
Have a great weekend, Your blogging sister, Connie :)
P.S. Thanks for stopping by and visiting.

I almost painted our kitchen island a pale aqua. It was my second choice after the pink, and I asked Mr. Art @ Home and he preferred the pink to the aqua. Now your post is making me second-guess myself. ;P
