Peace

"To forgive is
the highest,
most beautiful
form of love.
In return,
you will receive
untold peace
and happiness."
~Robert Muller

My sister-in-law
sent me this
picture one day
and I thought it
was the most
beautiful picture
that I had ever
seen.  I will keep
it always.

"The practice of
forgiveness is our
most important
contribution to
the healing of
the world."
~Marianne Williamson

Take care, my loves.

I've had forgiveness on my heart for about a week now. Just trying to dig deeper into Gods word with this subject. I love how with a few short quotes it summed up a lot!!Jesus' forgiveness never ends.
" If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and clean us from ALL unrighteousness". Now that is true LOVE. The picture...touching and tender!
Much love to you too dear Sheri and thank you for sharing this post,
Rayanne

It reminds me that episode when Martha is busy serving and Mary is at Jesus' feet listening to His teachings.
That's probably why you keep it. To remind you, from time to time, to Stop and Listen.

You're right about the forgiveness. I so NEEDed to read this today.

Love and Peace Be with You!

Across The Way's post was about forgivness today also. Some times it is so hard to do, but you have to think about what not forgiving does to you...because it's usually you who will suffer. Forgiving sets us free. xoxo,Susie

Dearest Sheri,

So magnificent imagine my dear Sheri!
To forgive..it is the most hardly thing to do. We need to kill our ego completely.
I have combated for years and years just to forgive.
I thought I won't make it. Once I did. Just a liberation for my soul.
I am free now!
but without 'HIM-on the image' I couldn't give any forgiveness.
love to you Sheri

This is so true and one of the hardest lessons in life to learn. While it sounds easy enough to put it into practice,it is something that I struggle with. I'm constantly working on this!

And I learned long ago that to forgive is to give, so you can imagine how much it has been tested in this giver's life. It is a joy, really, one of the greatest ways to give...forGIVE.

Through one of the most difficult trials in my life many many years ago, I also learned that forgiveness is a CHOICE which has NOTHING to do with feelings. That choice does not mean that our pain vanishes instantly, but it starts the path to healing which is a whole other issue. Most folks want to heal first then forgive if and ever their pain goes away, but it's the other way around...forgive first then heal.
We never know what our neighbor has forgiven do we?

Forgiveness brings us peace. It's so often misunderstood. When I feel violated betrayed or offended by something it's because the hurt was already in me and it got triggered. We as humans are often trespassing on one another. The Lord's Prayer forgive us our sins/mistakes as we forgive those who trespass against us.

In the word of Forgiveness, some ppl say it is easy to forgive but hard to forget.....well I forgive ppl easily and I think it is healthy to forgive because we should take it into account that nobody is perfect and mistakes happen all the time. The ur,oat thing to remember is to learn from your mistakes and come out of it with wise ness and maturity. Well it is so good to go through ur posts.....so much perspective in it.

Btw NEW POST in MYBLOG
Have a lovely day Sherri!
Xoxo
