Hello Love

You know how much
I love red roses.
Well, I was out
shopping and came
across this red rose
candle.  It even
smells like a rose!

Then,
at another store,
I spotted this.

I am a bit of a
romantic,
and here is one of
 my favorite poems.
It's just a couple
verses, not the whole
poem, and it's written
by Robert Burns.

O my Luve's like a red red rose
That's newly sprung in June;
O my Luve's like the melodie
That's sweetly play'd in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry.

Oh, love is in the air,
 and I'm sending
it your way.

Have a nice
weekend, friends.

~Sheri

Hi Sheri,

I think they carry the candle line at the Target near my home. I will have to smell it when I'm there today. Errand day.
Have a great weekend!
I'm looking forward to socializing, eating, and commercials on Sunday.

I have two lovely rose bushes that I will send you pics. of when the time is right. As of now, they are dormant, however, in the summer, they constantly bloom, bloom, bloom. Lovely post.

Hi Sheri,

Nothing could be sweeter than red roses and candles and perfect for Valentines month. Also love the poem and as Diana said, should be read with a Scottish accent.
Happy weekend

Good Evening Sheri, I love roses aswell, and do you know I felt as if I could smell the rose perfume from your candle.
After the first line of reading your poem, I started singing it, as for me, it has to be sung, not spoken.
So lovely.
Best Wishes
Daphne
