Welcome Fall

Fall...  There is so much wondrous beauty  during this time that make this season my most favorite of all.

The weather gets cooler
and
The leaves start to fall

Hot apple cider

Scented spice candles

And most important,
Nel gets married
in the Fall!

A little elf
sat in a tree
painting leaves
to throw at me.

Leaves of yellow
and leaves of red
came tumbling down
about my head.

Do you have any special Fall plans?

I totally agree with you, Fall is such a beautiful time of the year! I love the colourful tree's/leaves and the weather is neither too hot nor too cold.
A Fall wedding will be absolutely lovely :)
Yummy..A cup of hot apple cider would be so perfect right about now. I remember always having a cup of it when my family and I would go to a tree farm near us, to cut down a Christmas tree each year in Canada..brings back memories.

OH SHERI! WHat a gorgeous picture of that bride! But I know that Nel is going to be one of the most stunning of all.....and my sweet friend, your kind FIRST comment today just made me happy. I struggled as I wrote, worrying that my message was not clear, then the muse came. But most of all, the sweet words that come in SPARKLE and make my day.

You shine my dear and may this fall be filled with more blessings than ever before. Be BRIGHT AND SPARKLE! Anita

When I think of Autumn, I think of warmth...in so many ways.
Its an extravagantly beautiful season, and for many years it was my favourite. As I get older, I have found that summer is my time, because of the heat, the sunshine, the fun summer activities, and the absence of cold.
Autumn has always meant the comfort and wonder of "colour" and the comfort of close family and the "awesomeness" of our Creator, God.
I am excited that your daughter is being married in this gorgeous season!
How wonderful that wedding will be!
Weekend blessings!

Deborah xoxo

Mmm... I'm looking forward to the fall season and the beauty it brings. We are expecting a cold front to move in next week and I can hardly wait. I'm so over the heat and humidity.
How exciting to have Nel's wedding to look forward to.

I am not ready for it....we are at the lake this weekend, and we will be boating, skiing, and wake boarding. Once we are no longer coming to the lake on weekends, I will be more interested in al things fall.

I do love this post, though...so sweet! I know y'all are so happy about Nel's wedding. :D

Nothing special going on here except to enjoy a wonderful cool front that just came sweeping through Texas. Instead of temperatures over 100 F we are enjoying temperatures in the high 80's and that my friend makes me happy! :)

I'm sure you are getting excited about Nel's wedding, what a wonderful, happy and cherished time for all of you! :)

No special plans, but I'm really looking forward to it, also! I love fall and all the things you mentioned, plus pumpkins and mums, wearing sweaters, drives to enjoy the beautiful leaves! Can't wait to hear more about the wedding!

unfortunately we don't live in a part of the world where fall is so obvious. we're in the tropics of Australia and only really have a tiny spring and autumn.. and we're actually in spring right now! have a wonderful autumn and enjoy watching the beautiful leaves change colour - i've only seen that once in my life and it's truly spectacular!

We're in that nay time. Not Summer anymore and not Fall yet. I need the cold to feel embraced by Autumn... not funny picking the leaves when's 30 degrees or something ahahah

I Love Autumn. When I leave the Office and it's getting darker. That wind bite that ask for cuddles and warmth. Add the scent of roasted nuts sold o the street and all is well in the World

And I love Autumn Brides. I was one. Everyone fretting over it - weather can be tricky and people were dreading the rain - and I loved the idea of a cuddly honeymoon and to watch the world go into dormency while I woke to other reality. And I love to celebrate the Anniversaries in the same way - mark a milestone and then watch and live.

Lovely images, Sweet Friend!!!

Sheri......... you took me away from reality for a moment......... and foremost you inspire me to go to the garden center and go buy some cinnamon scented candles and dream away! Thank you for the warm welcome to fall ;-))

Lovely images. Autumn is a lovely season and I especially love the rich colours. As the nights draw in, I agree - it's good to light scented candles
and I like to drink hot chocolate (or mulled wine on cold winter nights!)
