Inner Spirit

"In everyone's life,
at some time, our
inner fire goes out.
It is then burst into
flame by an encounter
with another human
being.  We should
all be thankful for
those people who
rekindle the inner
spirit."

Your photo is beautiful and so is the quote; sometimes Jesus reignites our spirit too.

Lovely new header Sheri, the hardness of stone combined with the softness of the rose.

I'm lucky to bu surrounded by good friends, but my savior at times that my inner fire goes out is my soulmate (my husband) Dick.

I would dedicate your poem to him, for he's the one who rekindled my fire. He's my Rock and Fortress.

And last but not least, your canlde photo is phenomenal!

Have a beuatiful weekend,
B.

I really love your new header and the quote is very thought provoking. So often we meet people and never really think about the dynamics of why they are in our lives. I am a firm believer that everyone enters your life with a purpose. Sometimes it is a shared event and other times one of us will learns an important lesson. The question is will we know the lesson?

Have a great weekend, Sheri. :)

That is so true! What would we do without amazing people in our lives that spur us on and give us that lift! :)

Thanks for your sweet comment. I feel so blessed to still have both of my parents...who are both in their mid/late 70's! I couldn't ask for better parents. It must be bittersweet for you when Father's Day comes around. Love that your father is still close to your heart.
