The Colors Of Spring

We had a nice Easter.  The day was sunny, and after lunch, I took a few random pictures here and there that I'll share with you.

I saw these sweet sheep just grazing in the pasture.

When I saw the different colors of these sheep, I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be nice if we could all get along like this despite our differences?"

I never realized how delicate the petals are on poppies until I saw these.

I hope all your wishes come true today.

It looks like you had a beautiful Easter weekend!

It was sunny and warmish here in Portland~~warm being a relative term~~close to 70º!!! For me that's heaven, having lived in L.A. for 56 years :~)

I love your Pink Tree, of course :~)

Thank you, Sheri, I took the opportunity to make a wish with that last pic. It's along the same lines as your thought on those sheep. ;)
Hugs.

Hi Sheri,
Hope you had a beautiful Easter with the family. I am sure, between blogs and holiday celebrating, you and the gals are happily busy planning the upcoming wedding! Thank you for visiting me and checking on my at my blog, Bluebirds and Butterflies. I was truly sad to lose my dear Aunt Ruth recently. :( Last of my dear Mother's siblings. I will miss my Aunt and have wonderful memories of being a little girl and spending time with her in the summer in Daytona Beach. Aunt Ruth will always be my very favorite Aunt. I returned from Florida last week to get things ready for the Easter holiday and spend time at home with my dear hubby and little Sadie after being gone for two weeks. I had a wonderful Easter with my husband and my son, Elliott, who came home from college to spend Easter with us. I took time to post on my blog and get things in order this week. I will be returning to Florida on the night of the 16th of April to spend another week in Florida. My husband is going on business and I am tagging along to enjoy a few days on the beach in Cocoa Beach and spend more time with my sister and Mark's daughter, Ashley, who live nearby. It will be nice to take a few days to just relax and walk the beach. Happy Easter and love to you and your family. Love ya, Kim xoxo

Oh how beautiful. I love the flowers and the sheep. We were always allowed to bring a lamb home with us from our Uncle's farm in the Spring and keep it for a few weeks. I ALWAYS chose the black one or the brown one. lol

Thank you for popping by my blog today and leaving such a nice message. xo Diana

Beautiful scenery, Sherri. I couldn't have said it better than you did when reflecting on how the sheep all seem to get along and wouldn't it be nice if we all could. It's such an easy thing to do if people would only try! It takes far more energy to fight than to get along!

Glad your Easter was a happy one!

Your photos are so representative of this beautiful season. And I agree, too, that it would be great if we all got along and did not focus on our differences. The sheep don't seem to mind... I enjoy your blog very much, and so I have nominated you for the Sunshine Award. http://www.thesagebutterfly.blogspot.com/2012/04/natural-garden-recipes-for-pest-and.html
