Pacific Coast Highway

One of my favorite things to do is to take a drive down Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).

I love observing the ocean, the palm trees, and all of the people enjoying a beautiful day outdoors.

Sometimes my boyfriend and I take the beach cruisers out for a ride along the sand until we reach the pier.

He loves to walk along the pier, all the way to the windy edge.

There, we are accompanied by the smell of cheeseburgers on the grill and the sound of vintage music coming from Ruby's 50's style diner.

A ride along PCH is a special treat indeed.

Oh you lucky girl!! I spent 6 weeks in Orange County and loved it! I think I must have lived there in a previous life :). I spent lots of time on the beaches and driving up & down the PCH just for the sights.

Sounds nice. When I was in Palm Beach for a Narts Convention, we drove along the side of the ocean and looked at all the georgous homes, might I add BIG homes. Donald Trumps was one...Wow! Anyway, have a good day.

Can I tag along with you guys? It's only +12 here right now. It's sunny, but bitter cold. Still white stuff all over the ground, but they say warmer weather tomorrow. I think we might reach 25!!! , lol... I know you're shivering just thinking about it Jess. Nothing compares to your scenery and pretty walks to the pier. The best part is having someone to share it with.
LOVE your neck of the woods.
Thank you for posting me on your side bar. I feel honoured ; ))))
Love you girls.

Brings back memories of Florida for me. Especially, when I saw the pier. My husband and I used to go to the pier in Daytona Beach a lot when we were dating in high school. They had a place that you could go to and dance at the end of the pier. Love going for bike rides. My husband has a motorized bike....handy here in the Northwest with all the hills. Have a beautiful day. Hope you get to go on many, many bike rides in the future. xoxo Kim @ Bluebirds and Butterflies

Hi Sheri,
Thanks for your visit to my blog today. I wanted to write you back and let you know about the wedding cupcakes that you asked about. There was indeed, a tiny, keepsake cake at the very top of all those cupcakes for the bride and groom to keep. I took a photo of it with my cell phone. If I can get it to load online, I will try to get you a photo of it. Except for the couple's tiny topper cake at the very top, it was ALL cupcakes....red velvet and they were DELISH! I know your daughter's wedding will be beautiful. Have a great day, friend. xoxo Kim @ Bluebirds and Butterflies
