Always There For You

Whenever my girls are having a hard time, and everything seems to be overwhelming, I try to encourage them to do a few things:

Get some excercise and clear their heads

Stop to look at the beauty around them

Treat themselves to something wonderful

Remind them that there are people who are less fortunate than they are

~Pray for Peace~

Sometimes I tell them to....

And the last thing I tell them is...
"I'm always there for you, and I've got your back."

Hope you all have a fun Labor Day weekend!!

Hi Sheri, great advice from a great mother. :) I love that last picture. Also noticed the cheese fondue mentioned in the next post so I have to go take a look. Yum.

I stopped by to let you know that for now I will be writing at my other blog only (Red Scarf Diaries). I hope you stop by and click on my google reader to continue visiting. I couldn't transfer the readers but still plan to keep up with many of my faves.

Enjoy your weekend.

Sheri, you seem like the nicest person. I love hearing from you on my blog. I get such a sense of calmness reading what you have to say. Your girls are lucky to have you. I love your advise. We use to say "Get your panties out of a knot and move on. Kinda the same thing. Anyway it's cute advise. Hope you have a great weekend.

My dear dear Sheri,

Thank you for coming to visit me today. I do start school on Tuesday, mornings will be rough for about a month, so I have to juggle what I SO ENJOY and that is following everyone that comes to visit. BUT I WILL STILL BE POSTING! YOu are so kind to come to visit. Isn't blogland addicting?

You give good advice to your girls....it is a blessing to be a mentor, isn't it?

Enjoy your holiday dearest, Anita

This is such a great list! Pretty much all of these have helped me before, especially the looking at beauty, counting my blessings, and exercise!
